By confirming your reservation, guests agree to follow these house guidelines, which help ensure a great experience for everyone. ▶ Emergency Contact Info: Please ensure we have a current mobile number on file in case we need to reach you during your stay. ▶ No Smoking or Vaping: Smoking or vaping of any kind is not permitted anywhere on the property, including indoors and outdoors. The property has cigarette smoke detection sensors to help us maintain our smoke-free policy. A minimum $500 smoke remediation fee applies for violations. ▶ Noise: We have outdoor noise monitoring devices to help us comply with Galveston’s strict Quiet Time Ordinance (10 PM–8 AM). These devices do not record conversations — they only measure noise levels. Please respect our quiet hours and be mindful of our neighbors. ▶ Respect for the Home & Neighborhood: • This home is best suited for quiet, residential stays. • Quiet hours are observed by City ordinance from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. • Parties, events, fireworks, incense are not permitted. • Illegal activities, substances, weapons, or firearms are not allowed on the property. ▶ Minimum Age 25 Years Old: Booking guest must be at least 25 yrs old and staying at the property each night of the reservation. ▶ Child & Pet Safety: Children and pets must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. ▶ Bookings & Access: • We can't accept 3rd party bookings (you book for someone else, but don't stay yourself). For security and insurance reasons, the person booking the reservation must actually be staying for the entire reservation period. • All overnight guests (including children) and any pets must be included in the number of guests/pets listed on the reservation. Visitors require prior approval from Host and must depart by 9pm. • Door codes are for registered guests only and may not be shared with others, including delivery drivers. • For privacy and security reasons, mail or packages cannot be received at the property. ▶ Airbnb In App Services & Grocery Delivery: Airbnb in App Services and grocery deliveries are not permitted. However, deliveries outside the Airbnb App are permitted during your stay after check-in. We do ask that someone in your group be present to accept the deliveries - door codes may not be shared with delivery drivers (or others) that are not registered guests. ▶ Parking: One covered, driveway parking spot and free street parking. The City of Galveston allows up to two vehicles for street parking. Please don't block sidewalks. RVs, trailers, boats, oversized vehicles, and parking near red curbs or across driveways are not permitted. ▶ No EV Charging: Use of extension cords to charge vehicles/devices is prohibited due to safety and insurance requirements. This includes E-bikes, scooters, hoverboards etc. ▶ Furniture & Care of the Home: • We kindly ask that furniture remain in place, except when using sofa beds. If items are moved, please return them to original locations before checkout. • This is a historic home, so we appreciate your care with floors, walls, and furnishings. ▶ Pets: We’re happy to welcome well-behaved dogs. Please follow the pet rules below so we can continue offering pet-friendly stays for future guests: • Dogs only; maximum of 2 (no other pets) • Dogs must be 1+ years old (no puppies) • Fully housebroken - please pick up after your dog • No pets on beds/furniture - If excessive pet hair is found on beds or furniture, or your dog is an excessive shedder, an additional $150 cleaning fee will be charged (please bring your own pet bed/blanket) • Pets must be crated if left alone in home - not permitted to be tied up outside (please bring your own pet crate) • No unattended pets outdoors; must be on leash • Do not bathe pets in the showers, tub, or sinks • Do not use white bath towels or beach towels for pets (please bring your own pet towels) • Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage/additional cleaning beyond the normal pet fee ▶ Front Porch Swing: Weight limit is 350 pounds. Use of the swing is at your own risk. Please don't allow children to play on the swing or use the swing unattended. . ▶ Damage & Maintenance: • If something isn’t working properly or an accident occurs, please let us know promptly—things happen, and early notice helps us prepare for the next guests. • Exterior maintenance or landscaping may occasionally occur during your stay; we’ll try to notify you in advance whenever possible. ▶ Safety & Security: The property has outward-facing exterior security cameras at entry points, used in compliance with Airbnb policies. There are no interior cameras. Cameras and Wi-Fi equipment must remain connected and unobstructed. ▶ Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit is required 2 days prior to check-in and is released 2 days after checkout if no issues are reported. Free street parking available. Please note the City does not permit RVs, boats, trailers, or oversized vehicles to park in the driveway or on the street. ● Beach Access: The home is a short drive (or a 4 block walk) to the Seawall and Galveston’s beaches. ● Climate: Galveston is humid and coastal—central air conditioning and ceiling fans are provided for your comfort in the main house. Cottage has a wall AC unit and fans. ● Pets: We’re happy to welcome well-behaved dogs! We allow 2 adult dogs. The pet fee is included in the nightly rate when you add your pets to the reservation. Please see our House Rules/Pet Policies and the following so we can continue offering pet-friendly stays: • Dogs only; max 2 (1+ year old, no puppies) • Fully housebroken; please clean up after your dog • No pets on beds or furniture • In crate if left alone at property ● Safety Features: The two homes are equipped with smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers and first aid kits. ● Security Devices: For your security the property is equipped with exterior security cameras (no cameras inside). Tampering with, disabling, or obscuring cameras is prohibited and against Airbnb Policies. ● No EV Charging: EV charging via use of extension cords (including vehicles, e-bikes, scooters, hoverboards) is not permitted at the property due to safety and insurance requirements. Public EV charging stations are available nearby. ● Food and beverages staged in some photos for inspiration only – not provided during your stay. We do provide a starter supply of coffee and tea. ● Security Deposits: A refundable security deposit may be required for your stay. Walk or bike to the beach (4 blocks), or drive just a few minutes to The Strand District, UTMB, or Galveston Cruise Ship Port. Street parking free around our home. Spaces are usually easy to find, but availability can vary during events. Hop on the Galveston Island Trolley, which stops just blocks away and runs along Seawall Boulevard to the Historic Pleasure Pier and downtown shopping. You can rent E-Bikes, standard bikes (tandem bikes are fun), 4-wheel surrey bikes, golf carts and scooters at hourly rates. Paid parking downtown, Strand, Seawall and beaches via cash, PayByPhone App, or credit/debit cards. EV charging stations near downtown, Seawall and Moody gardens (paid). No EV charging at the property due to fire safety/insurance restrictions.
